Abigail Carr

Head of Preschool, Mount Kelly International Preschool

Ms Abigail Carr (BA (Hons), TEFL, PGDE, M.Ed) has been committed to delivering a world class Early Years education for over 17 years. She began her career in England before coming to Hong Kong in 2005, where she worked at both St. Catherine’s International Kindergarten and the YMCA International Kindergarten.

Ms Carr has worked as a guest lecturer for The Education University of Hong Kong and has trained Hong Kong Kindergarten teachers through an English enhancement programme designed to support local teachers teaching English through developmentally appropriate practice.

Ms Carr joined Mount Kelly to lead the International Preschool and to be part of establishing a legacy within Hong Kong. Her outstanding academic qualifications in Early Years were gained in the UK before completing her PGDE from The University of Hong Kong and her Principal Certificate course at Hong Kong Baptist University.
