Ruth Benny (moderator)

Founder, Top Schools

The founder of Top Schools, Ruth Benny is a long-time Hong Kong resident, former teacher, teacher trainer and mother of two primary school children. With 20 years’ experience of working in the education system in Hong Kong, she thoroughly understands its complexity and fierce competition.

Ms Benny moderates the KGF panel with a dual perspective. Firstly, as an education consultant who works with parents of children of all ages, she understands their preferences and challenges in searching for a school that provides a satisfactory bilingual education. Secondly, as a parent of two bilingual children, she has first hand experience of navigating Hong Kong’s schooling system.
