Shaun Porter

Principal, Little Dalton Kindergarten

Shaun Porter is a dedicated educator who serves students ranging from ages 2-18. He graduated with a master's in Education from New York University and began his career as a secondary mathematics teacher in New York City before co-founding a public elementary school in Queens, New York. After working as an assistant principal, Mr Porter transitioned to maths education consulting, working for the prestigious Metamorphosis Teaching and Learning, Inc. While consulting, he coached teachers and school leaders in mathematics instruction and school culture across the United States and Canada. Mr Porter chose to leave New York City and join DSHK and Little Dalton because he believes its unique approach and philosophy has the potential to transform the lives of students, as well as the broader landscape of education across the world.
